Near the Piazza del Carmine are the Ponte Molino (PI. C, 3)and a Tower, hearing the (modern) inscription, mesto avanzo di ne-fanda tirannia: Ezzelino eresse 1250, which recalls the tyranny ofEzzelino da Romano (p. 208). From the
