(February 23, 2022)--A newly hired Civil Service Mariner (CIVMAR) uses a CO2 fire extinguisher to put out a simulated trashcan fire at the Military Sealift Command Training Center East on Joint Base Langley-Fort Eustis, Virginia, Feb. 23. The training was part of the MSC Basic Training Damage Control curriculum, which must be successfully completed prior to sailing in MSC's fleet of ships.
