The Lays, Local Park, Stanton Harcourt, Oxfordshire, England, UK, GB.

Stanton Harcourt is a small, attractive village dating from a Bronze Age settlement. The Harcourt family resided there between the 12th and 18th century and the fine Norman church contains the tomb of Robert Harcourt, Henry Tudor's standard bearer at Bosworth Field (1485) and the remains of the standard hang above his tomb. Rich in history and heritage, the village has been a focus for archaeologists for many years including a dig there by the Channel 4 programme 'Time Team'.
