The children in institutionsof this class should be furnished not only with proper instruction,but the hours of play should also be regulated and physical cultureprovided. MASSACHUSETTS INSTITUTIONS FOR THE CARE OF SURGI-CAL TUBERCULOSIS. The excellent facilities for the care of surgical tuberculosis atpresent available in Massachusetts indicate that attention has beencalled of recent years to the need of improved care of these patients. The Good Samaritan Hospital has accommodations for twenty-five cases of surgical tuberculosis, and facilities for open-air treat-ment.
