Closterocoris amoenus Van Duzee, 1917:367. This species is common in the southern half of California and could easily occur in southern Nevada. It was reported as occurring in the eastern part of the United States and Canada in the early records, but I have never found this species among material collected in the eastern states during the past fifty years.
