Coot Lake is part of the Boulder Reservoir in Boulder Colorado. The lake and surrounding wetland area is a nature reserve. It is a popular recreational area for hikers, runners, dog walkers and bikers. the lake is easily accessed from the town and has ample parking just across the road in Tom Watson Park. The image here shows the lake in autumn with distant views toward the Front Range of the Rockies.
