Abingdon claims to be the oldest town in England. And a walk down the Thames from the St Helens Wharf beauty spot towards its classy marina is one of my favourites. This stretch of the river is always packed with moored houseboats and small pleasure boats. At sunrise, the low sun creates lotys of lare, as well as interesting distorteds reflection of boat parts and buoys - like this abstract image.
