Mr. Ross Pritts of Garrett, Pa., has beencommended for a meritorious act performed onSeptember 26th, just west of M. P. No. 221 nearGarrett. Mr. Pritts is employed by theAtlantic Coal Company at their No. 2 mine atMcSpadden, Pa. Engineer H. Bowman, for a meritorious actperformed near Roberts, Pa., September 30th,has been written a letter of commendation bythe superintendent. Mr. Bowman entered theservice of the Company in the capacity offreight fireman January 13th, 1905, and waspromoted to engineer July 23rd, 1907.
