The Seljandsfoss Waterfall and plunge pool, Southern Iceland: a portrait view from the walkway around the back of the fall

A walkway leads visitors around the back of the 60m high Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, giving a good view of the high energy plunge pool, undercutting the basalt cliffs of Southern Iceland's former coastline. As the plunge pool grows in size, undercutting more of the cliff face, the cliff will collapse and the waterfall retreat further upstream.
