The Bibliotheca Thysiana library Rapenburg 25 Leiden Dutch UNESCO monument. (John Thysius (1621-1653) Netherlands

The Bibliotheca Thysiana is a library on the corner of the Rapenburg and the Hare Green Canal in Leiden. She belongs to the Top 100 of Dutch UNESCO monuments. The bulk of the collection consists of the legacy of the 17th-century scholar John Thysius (1621-1653) [1], in the form of about 2500 books and thousands of pamphlets. The collection is now only very sparsely completed, and then only with relevant work.
