The Kursaal is a Grade II listed building noted for its architectual style and domed top in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England. It opened in 1901 as part of one of the world's first purpose-built amusement parks. The wall of death (sometimes known as The wall of death, motordrome, silodrome or well of death is a wooden planked barrel shaped arena where spectators watch from the top as motorcycles or other motorised vehicles ride aroun it at speed,often performing other stunts.
