These tanks may be made either of sheet metal or of wood lined with tin. A screen is ar- ranged in the box on which the cappings fall and the honey drains into the lower space. Capping melters. A later develop- ment in imcapping cans is a piece of ap- paratus in which the cappings are melted at once and the honey and melted wax run out.
