MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Oct. 25, 2016) A French Rafale figher jet conducts a fly over of USS Ross (DDG 71) as the French aircraft carrier FS Charles de Gaulle (R 91) conducts flight operations. Ross, an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is providing multi-warfare defense support to Charles de Gaulle carrier-based operations in the Eastern Mediterranean against identified ISIL positions in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.
