Cliffs with alternations of limestone and clay, France


Large cliffs in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, France, made up of a regular alternation of round strata in turn limestone then clay over more 150 meters deep. The cliffs represent the Barremian stage , dating from 115-120 million years ago. Luc Ebbo, Paleogalerie, Salignac.
