Some idea of the magnitude of this work may be gathered from the factthat the largest electric shovels ever built have been handling this work and that50 miles of standard gauge railroads have been built in connection with con-struction operations. In addition to this there is being built a power house railway, which willconnect with the Michigan Central at Queenston.
