The cuticle is smooth andwithout spines. Just behind the ventral sucker two smalloval testes are placed, one on each side, with their long axesdirected obliquely outwards and forwards. There is a small pharynx contiguous with theoial sucker; two simple intestinal diverticula arise im-mediately behind the pharynx and appear to terminate nearthe testes. This is apparently the first record of this cercaria, andno other entozoa have hitherto been described from LimaMans. Even with the scanty details given above, it is not difficultto recognize in this cercaria the larva of a species belongingto one or other of the genera Steringophoriis or position of the suckers, their large size and particularlythe prominence of the ventral sucker, the situation of thetestes, and the smooth condition of the cuticle all supportsuch an identification. The characters of the excretoryvesicle and the alimentary system are also of
