SUSKULT demonstration plant, hydroponics Food production system in which plants grow soilless using mineral nutrient solutions as part of an indoor cultivation process. SUSKULT obtains the required resources carbon dioxide, phosphorus, potassium and nitrogen as well as heat and water from a sewage treatment plant, in this case the Emschermuendung sewage treatment plant.
