Seated Statue of the Steward Sehetepibreankh ca. 1919–1885 Middle Kingdom This statue is an example of the most common type of human representation made during the early Middle Kingdom (ca. 2000–1900 ). It is patterned on depictions of the king (see ), and thus proclaims that Sehetepibreankh spent his life in the service and as a true delegate of the king. The statue once stood in Sehetepibreankh's tomb in a place where family and friends could bring offerings and say Seated Statue of the Steward Sehetepibreankh 573446
