The greenhouse of Tivoli Park in Ljubljana, Slovenia's capital, is located at the park's southern edge, close to the Tivoli Pond and city buildings. It features many tropical plants and just next to it is a rose garden with many types too. The green and wooded Tivoli Park is a favorite and a must visit place for visitors and locals in Ljubljana, where one can relax in its grass or take a pleasant walk through its woods, tree-lined paths, natural trails and open areas. It is the largest park in the city and has a greenhouse, a pond, several notable buildings and artworks scattered through it. Since 1984 it has been protected as part of a Nature Park, and it is home to a variety of bird species.
