A disused Art Nouveau printing factory in Pecs, Hungary


A disused Art Nouveau printing factory in Pecs, has been chosen as the 2010 European City of Culture. The city is on the southern slopes of the Mecsek Hills and has a sub-Mediterranean climate. Settled by Romans as Sopianae, it was a significant Christian settlement. Later conquered by the Ottomans, it has important Turkish architecture.
