Portmeirion Village and gardens Gwynedd North Wales
Portmeirion Village and gardens was built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis from 1925 to 1973 on its won private peninsula coast of Snowdonia. There are over 50 buildings of shops cafe bars restaurants and a hotel. It is surrounded by 70 acres of Sub tropical gardens relatively frost free due to the warming influence of the Gulf Stream
