With this pile driver as many as 72 piles were driven in one day,the average number being 50. SOME ESTIMATES ON COSTS. The following table is extracted from an article entitled TheCommercial Engineer by Mr. C. W. Bennett, B. M. E., publishedin the Wisconsin Engineer. Mr. Bennett is connected with the El-wood, Ind., plant of the American Tin Plate Co., and the data wereprepared with special reference to rolling mill construction. How-ever, they should be of value for other shop and manufacturingbuildings.
