Caledonian Railway Class 1 2-4-0 built 1870
Built by Conner with 6ft 2in driving wheels they were rebuilt by Dugald Drummond These locomotives were built with flush topped boilers began to be used, a dome on the second ring of the boiler casing, The safety valves were Naylor and Salter types when built, however these got replaced by the Ramsbottom type over time. 50 to 54 were rebuilt between 1880 & 1885 and reclassified as Class 50. was built in 1870 and withdrawn in 1905
