Hon. E. A. Merritt, Jr., of the Hannawa Falls Power Company: Thetrees planted last spring have done splendidly; very few died, and thebalance are thriving. Hon. Frederick C. Stevens: The trees were inspected late last falland it was found that out of the entire planting (1,200) only 10 have died;the others were in a very healthy condition. The planting was, therefore,entirely satisfactory.
