The suspensionis of the transverse type. The contact wires are at-tached to double-petticoat insulators by means ofclamps, and these insulators also are insulated fromearth. The insulation is, therefore, quadruple betweenthe two aerial phases and triple between each aerialphase and the ground. The crossings of the aerialphases, of course, require special care.
