Two Airmen assigned to the 385th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron inspect a drouge attached to the boom on a KC-135 Stratotanker before a aerial refueling mission over Iraq, May 18, 2018. The probe and drogue method of refueling uses a trailing hose with a basket on the end, allowing pilots to guide a probe onto their aircraft to receive in-flight fuel. The KC-135 provides aerial refueling to and coalition forces in support of Operation Inherent Resolve and Resolute Support.
