This is a photograph of Captain Walter Jack Duncan's original artwork during World War 1. He was a commissioned Army artist assigned to the American Expeditionary Force (AEF). The artwork is currently believed to be housed in the National Museum of the United States Army at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, set to open in 2020. The image depicts German prisoners being escorted to work in Neufchateau, France, in May 1918.
