Rainy, misty day at a romantic Chinese pavilion at Mount Ali, Alishan, in Taiwan, lost in a forest of old trees.
A pavilion at Mount Ali in Taiwan. Alishan is popular for its sunsets, and for the small and old railway that climb along its flanks-it dates back from 100 years ago in the Japanese era. On this day there was no sunset to see, but instead we got a great atmosphere and light, and could wake up a bit later! The shot was taken during a rainy day, at noon, and it has a melancholic and romantic atmosphere. Everything was wet and it was very cold. The place is usually full of Chinese tourists, but I was very lucky, there was a fraction of second with no one on the frame. The pavilion is located in a beautiful altitude forest with many giant and old trees.
