NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Jan. 31, 2019) Lt. Cmdr. Winston Langham, from Mobile, Alabama, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) reactor department, returns the salute from Capt. John J. Cummings, Ford's commanding officer, as he is piped ashore. Ford is currently undergoing its post-shakedown availability at Huntington Ingalls Industries-Newport News Shipbuilding.
