Marines assigned to Battalion Landing Team 2/6, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, off-load from a landing craft, air cushion, attached to Assault Craft Unit 4, in Saaremaa Island, Estonia, May 20, 2022. The 22nd MEU and Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group are participating in the Estonian-led exercise Siil 22 (Hedgehog 22 in English). Siil 22 brings together members of the Estonian Defense Force and Sailors and Marines under Commander Task Force 61/2 to enhance Allied interoperability and preserve security and stability in the Baltic region.
