Nut, goddess of sky and the mother and daughter of sun god Ra, gave birth to Horus (pictured here), called Harpocrates
According to Egyptian mythology, Nut was the goddess of the sky and the mother and daughter of the sun god Ra, who forbade her to bear children. The god Thoth took pity on her and won from the moon five days (the five intercalated before New Year's in the Egyptian calendar). On each of these days, Nut gave birth to a child, one Horus (pictured here), also known as Harpocrates.
