A small, bowed bridge, called the queens crossing, crossing the Mahai river in the Royal Natal National Park in the Drakensberg Mountains of South Africa. This small bridge, on the trail towards the cascades, was built and named in honour of a visit from the British Royal Family. The Drakensberg Mountains formed due to the combination of the Jurassic period large flood basalt during the break-up of the Gondwana Supercontinent and erosion from the later uplift of the African Continent.
