Pilot Ship Breezes Alongside. A freighter has signalled for a pilot. The pilot's ship eases off her course for a moment to "speak" a Coast Guard's light ship. The Coast Guardsmen of light ship number 100, known also as "Blunts Reef", hail the smart little schooner as she pulls alongside. The "Blunts Reef" light ship is stationed off Alameda, California.
