FORT NORFOLK, Va. -- Norfolk District, Army Corps of Engineers employees pull oyster floats to out of the water at the district’s pier Oct. 16, 2011. The floats are the result of a partnership between Norfolk District and fourth graders at Virginia Beach’s Seatack Elementary School: they are working together to build an oyster reef along the shore of the district’s property.
