If wanted at once, then use hot water in a cup and a brush, take as many sections as can be held comfortably in the hand, put them straight so that the V joint is at the bottom; the brush is then dipped in the water and drawn over each V joint at the top, the section is then dropped and the next one treated in the same manner (Fig. 34); in this way, with a little practice, the work is done very rapidly.
