A Navy MH-60S Seahawk helicopter assigned to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM-78) approaches to land aboard the guided missile destroyer USS Pinckney (DDG 91) March 9, 2014, in the Gulf of Thailand. Navy ships and aircraft were dispatched to assist a multinational search for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, which disappeared March 8 over the Gulf of Thailand with 239 people aboard.
