I love electricity pylons; I find their abstract, gaunt shapes endlessly fascinating. They are quite ubiquitous in farming areas of rural Oxfordshire, constantly staring down at you. Fortunately, they are also often quite photogenic, especially around the golden hours of sunrise and sunset. Here we see giant pylons in Kennington Meadows by the Thames, with glowing skies on a beautiful winter sunrise. Nice, and well worth the early morning rise and jog!
