XX., is as nearly as possible of the same propor-tional length as that of Trihonyx, while it is considerably longer than that ofOcydronms, and shorter than that of Porphyrio. Its breadth, proportionallyto length of trunk, is considerably greater than in either of the three alliedgenera.
