Following this apprenticeship term he entered theSchool of Practical Science of the University of Torontoand graduated in the department of mechanical engineeringin 1890. Six years later, in 189G, he also gained the pro-fessional degree of electrical engineer. Following graduation Mr. Ross was with the ICdisuuCompany, Schenectady and Sherbrooke, and later with theCanadian General Tlectric Company, at Ieterborough, asworks engineer, iii: to is,):i.
