One of North Dakotas beauty spots is Sullys Hill NationalPark, which has an area of seven hundred and eighty acresin the northeastern part of the state on the shore of DevilsLake near Fort Totten. The lake is fifty miles long andfrom two to eight miles wide. It affords a good bathingbeach and excellent opportunities for yachting, and thereis much charm in its woods and rugged hills. Fargo, the states largest place, is a busy grain-tradingcity on the west bank of the Red River. Bismarck, thecapital, was settled in 1873. It has about as great a variationof temperature as any location
