Becker's nevus
Becker's nevus on the arm of a 35 year old Hispanic female. This area of discolouration and excess hair growth is known as a Becker's naevus. It is most common in males soon after puberty. This harmless condition is caused by an overproduction of skin pigment (melanin) and excessive hair growth (hypertrichosis).
