Recruits from Delta Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, climb ropes during Obstacle Course II at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, April 20. This was the first opportunity for recruits to climb the ropes, which serves as the last obstacle in the course. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Delta Company is scheduled to graduate June 30.
