Peridinium Bacïhorski steht dem P. Westii Lemm. nabe, weicht jedoch von demselben in vielen Punkten bedeutend ab. Die Zellen dorsoventral stark abgeplattet. die Epivalve helmartig, die Hypo- valve kleiner, ibre beiden Antapikalplatten hornartig gewolbt. Apex feblend. Die recbten Tafeln der Epivalve viel groBer als die lin-.
