Dioscuri Castor and Pollux, symbols of heroic values ​​and virtues, in Turin, Italy


The two equestrian statues with mythological figures of the Dioscuri Castor and Pollux, symbols of heroic values ​​and virtues, were performed by Abbondio Sangiorgio (1798-1879). In 1847 they were placed on columns at the central access of the gate of the Royal Palace.
