Marines with 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment (V-1/4), 1st Marine Division were fielded the new Joint Light-Weight Tactical Vehicles (JLTV) at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Sep. 6, 2019. V-1/4 is the first 1st Marine Division unit fielded the JLTV’s to replace the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle to provide the Division units better force protection and maneuverability.
