NEW BOSTON SPACE FORCE STATION, – Pictured is the Luther and Lucinda Melendy home, one of the final stops of the Underground Railroad, New Boston, , Sept. 19, 2022. The remnants of the Melendy home consist of granite stones forming a cellar and the barn’s foundation. In the densely wooded areas of New Boston SFS, there are more than 30 historic archeological sites, including the Melendy farmstead.
