Itwas one of the leading attractions in theAmerican exhibit at the Stanley show, Lon-don. The Stearns triplet will also come infor a great deal of attention, and the regularmodels will doubtless be regarded as amongthe most notable at the show. E. C. Stearns & Co. exhibited a numberof interesting trophies and curios. In onecorner of the booth was a fine exhibit com-. STEARNS SEPTUPLET spaces greater than the next largest. TheYellow Fellow booth was seventy feet inlength and twenty-four feet in width, andwas magnificently decorated. In the pastE. C. Stearns & Co. have always madetheir sign the leading feature of their elaborate electric display of last yearwill doubtless be recalled ; this included anelectric tower surmounted by a revolvingbicycle. This years sign was built on anentirely new plan. The groundwork was ofheavy wire woven diagonally in strands abouttwo inches apart. The surface was about fivefeet wide and forty feet in length. Upon thisthe single word Stearns was shown, eachletter in a huge cartouche or shield mouldedin papier mache and worked out in high re-lief in a Louis Quatorze design. The car-touches were connected by Empire garlandsof the same material and set off by fleur-de-lis.
