Finally,becoming exhausted,the bird was easilycaught, when, to theirgreat delight, they sawthat it was a youngBald Eagle. The bird measuredsix feet six inches fromtip to tip of wings; itseyes and beak were darkand its plumage darkbrown, somewhat likethat of a Golden Eaglein color.
