An old engraving of The Chapel of St Thomas on Old London Bridge, River Thames London, England, UK in the 1700s when it was used as a warehouse – it is from a Victorian history book. The Chapel of St Thomas on the Bridge was a bridge chapel built near the centre of the bridge and was completed by 1209. In 1548 it was dissolved as a place of worship and soon afterwards converted to secular use. The building survived and remained as a store until the new London Bridge was built – Old London Bridge was demolished in 1832.

The building survived as a dwelling and warehouse and it remained in use as a store until the new London Bridge was built – Old London Bridge was demolished in 1832.
