The farm buildings (V. fig. 109, pi. 18) are numerous enough and thebarn-stable especially is built on a modern plan, although there are somedefects in the frame-work. Mr. Lemire owns a silo and practises theensilage of Indian corn. His stock of implements and treatment of hismanures merited the highest points.
